It has been awhile since I last posted. Guess not much has happened. Didn't look when I last posted when I came aboard so not sure what I wrote about at my last post. Also not sure of the date when I last posted. We had some rainy weather over this past weekend so nothing outside was accomplished as far as getting the yard ready for summer. I will close for now. This week and next week will be busy so don't know for sure when I will update this important blog.


lucky 13

Took our pup (13 yrs old) for a little walk today. We went about 4 blocks then decided to return home. We went down a one block dead end street to peer into the woods. This is about a block and a half from our house. As we entered this street I noticed an animal setting on our neighbors lawn. I know they don't have a dog and I knew immediately that it was a fox. As we approached about ½ way down the street the fox went under the fence and stopped and looked back at us. As we continued further down the road it went a little further into the woods, but keeping an eye on us. Well we walked about ¾ of the distance we turned around and headed back home. What you don't see when you are without your camera. I have seen many animals, deer, badgers, rabbits and squirrels galore, even a snake once down that dead end, but had never seen a fox before. Interesting.

Here we go again. Not much news to pass on to all of my lurkers. Both of you. Planted some wild flower seed in the garden area I have been cleaning up for the past 4 days. Its a gentle rain out now so maybe, perhaps, hopefully I will have some good results and the seeds will sprout.

Enjoyed a visit with our oldest daughter yesterday and shared a bottle of ale that she home brewed. It was quite a tasty treat. Had a nice hoppy aroma and a pleasant slightly bitter aftertaste. Guess thats all for now, relax and live a good life.
