Just thought I would add a few pictures to spice up my little blog. Guess a few of these pics were what I was trying to post a few days ago with that last post. Supposed to snow later this evening. So far this year we haven't had the big storm that they have been having out east. So far it has been a rather pleasant winter. Hope I can say that come April. In a few days the ground hog will surface to check out the weather and let us know if spring is truly here.

Weather forecast is on now and perhaps a possible 10" of snow here if the conditions are right. Then Monday and Tuesday the winds are to blow pretty fierce. Time will tell. Will write again in a few days and let you know if this all came about. Till then-------signing off for now.

Back Posting

Had trouble for the past eight days with this computer, my internet company or the phone company. The internet company could find no problem on their end, this computer was clean. Could get online but could not download anything. The computer speed was down to 17.4 Kbps sometimes as high as 32 Kbps. Usual speed is in the 52+ Kbps range. Mentioned the problem to mein frau and she said that she had seen many phone company trucks in the area in the past few days. Perhaps it was a telephone problem for my dialup connection. Anyhow it's good to be back online.

Wanted to post a few pictures but the site doesn't seem to want me to do so. Lots of interesting things happening lately in this state. Packers going to Super Bowl, President Obama to speak in my old home town and of course the Wisconsin weather. Sorry for no pictures but it is still good to be blogging again.

It's been quite a few days since I last wrote in this blog. Been feeling much better the past few days and not only shoveled a few inches of snow from my driveway a few days ago but this evening I used the snowthrower and cleaned our drive and the neighbors. Also shoveled path for our Nelli pup. Just got over one cold when on New Years Eve came down with another. That's what I get for staying home New Years Eve. Now the old gal came down with the coughing so it will be a real healthy time around our house. You can see from the granddaughters picture she hopes we get well soon.

Well this was just to catch up with everything and start the New Year right.
