Daughter-in-law was doing pretty good recovering from her operation as I recorded in my last posting. Then a blood clot in one of the artery's to the liver developed and now she may have to under go a new transplant. We stopped to see her in the hospital 2 days ago and she was sleeping, a restless sleep. When the wife touched her arm she tried to open her eyes but it was a problem for her. A nurse ran down to get our son who was in the hospital doing some bookwork . Very lucky that he can do work from this setting. He was glad to see us and we talked with him for awhile. Another friend of theirs does volunteer work at the hospital so she checks in on the D-I-L quite often.
On another note, as a beer tester back in the mid 1950's to the early 1970's, I often look for beers that I am not familiar with. Also I have family and friends who on occasion pick up a beer for me to share with them my expert opinion of this product. Last month camping along the Mississippi River with my baby sister and her hubby they had 2 beers for me to try. Because of the weather and our travels to a nearby casino alsoI had to go to the nearest town for a haircut I only got to taste one of the beers. Anne, I hope you still have the 2d sample for me.
Well time to hit the sack, it was a tiring day today. Read the paper all morning, went to Church this evening and then to McDonalds for a delicious supper. Busy, busy day.
